Apr. 13th, 2004 01:01 pmIt's yet another grey and rainy day here in the District, and I have to say that my mood, unfortunately, kinda matches it. I have to admit to being a little homesick. I wish I weren't; to be so, to me, seems to be like admitting some sort of weakness. But yet, here I am, sitting at the computer, and wishing more than anything I could be back in Atlanta -- even if just for the day.
Thank you guys so much, those of you who posted birthday wishes in your journals. It means a lot to me, especially feeling as isolated as I do today. And Sel, unfortunately, I still have The Communist Manifesto to read before Thursday, and a few other loose ends to tie up before Friday on my thesis. I did, however, get the damned thing done. (And there was much rejoicing...) There will be some tweaks to do before Friday, an abstract to write, and a presentation to prepare, but those will be child's play comparatively speaking. =)

For now, I'm off to try and work my way out of this funk I've somehow found myself in. Again, thanks, and I hope, some day, I can repay the kindness. =)
