Today has been a somewhat productive day, though I must admit I've not gotten everything done I wanted to. I managed to do my pilates workout, drop off the rent check and a letter for the management company, and make a deposit at the credit union. Afterwards, I made a side trip to Trader Joe's to see a man about a fish -- orange roughy and striped bass, to be specific -- and some bottled water. While this may not seem terribly exciting, it did get me out of the house for a while... And yes, I am feeling better.

Also tonight, I managed to beta-read the next chapter of [livejournal.com profile] jestana's "Life of a Lion." The next time I see her online, she's getting a big thwack for not warning me about content -- the tissue warning was not enough to prepare me for the chapter! Argh! On the other hand, the subject matter was handled well, and is not entirely without its merits. It is, after all, not unlike I see things going down in JKRs version. =) I should have the beta-ed version to you tomorrow around lunchtime, Jes, after I type in my notes from the hard copy. Just promise your beta a little more warning next time, eh? ;)

Tommorow likely won't be as productive -- the only thing on the agenda for tomorrow is a trip to the campus bookstore to pick up textbooks. Terribly exciting, I know, but it must be done. And there was no way on God's green earth that I was going yesterday -- not and end up on 395S after 3 PM. Not. Happening. So... Just have to be patient and go in the AM. Will be nice to spend someone else's money for a change.

Posted last night to TF for the first time in a very long time. Felt good to let the RamseyMuse out to play for a while. There's more to come on the storyline for Mark and Bec, but will be slow going: There's a mission between here and there. I'm hoping to get the mission going within the next week before I get sucked into the vaccuum that is the politics program.

Oh, and someone make sure to remind me this weekend to DROP Political Ideologies like a hot potato, please? I only registered so the class would make....

On Command, things are going a little slower. I've pulled up Nat's bio as well as the last couple of posts so that I can have some form of continuity. It's rather a pity that Nat's not on TF, as the visit by her ex-husband and the PM would make great filler for the mission I'm going to send SG5 on on Task Force. Ah well. I can't do more than one character per -- for my own sanity -- and there's no way in hell Nat would suffer some of the, uhm, undesirables we have serving on TF. Just hope I can get back into the swing of things and get my storyline jump-started again.
