andverygingerWell, it's Friday. Woo! Made it through another week. Booking out of here early, and heading to visit the in-laws for a few days, do the Christmas thing, hang out with some DH's college buddies. Really looking forward to the trip! Got another early Christmas present from the folks at NBC (of all places). One of the nice gals over at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

In other news, opened the Christmas packages from my side of the family. Very nice thus far -- new Grinch pajamas (which we are under "orders" to wear for the holiday), a new deep fryer (can take the Southern girl out of the South, but...), a Batman ornament (which my husband isn't happy about -- my mother is encouraging me, he says), and a few other various and sundry items. Was a great deal of fun. Not as much fun, mind you, as everyone will be having on Sunday, but fun. I'll miss you guys tons... but at least I can pester from long distance thanks to Alexander Graham Bell. ;)
And finally, all political commentaries aside, I do appreciate the friends I have out there. Thank you all for sticking with me another year. I hope you all have a Happy Holiday, be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Solstice (apologies for the belated wish!), or any other one I might have missed.
