Random Observations

1) Sewing with swimsuit material sucks. I don't think I had this much trouble with the satin I used for a pirate vest two years ago. On the other hand? The trial run of the pants for my Abigail costume turned out okay, if a little large. I then proceeded with the "high performance spandex." That didn't slip as badly. That pair turned out pretty well, and I might actually wear these to the gym. Cutting them to the next smaller size made a huge difference and these fit like a glove.

2) I'm staying at the current job as long as I can, but I've definitely hit my limit for the time being. Between the issues at the state and co-workers from other departments, I'm ready to tell them all where to stick it. But, I put in for Thursday of this week off, and I plan on enjoying my long weekend...even if I do have to get off my ass and really start working on my paper.

3) I really don't want to work on my paper. It's the last 30% of my grade in this class, and I'm having trouble mustering the enthusiasm. Partially because I'm ready to quit my job, but I really have to see this one through.

4) "Castle" is on in two minutes. Say what you want, it's fun fluff. And I need a little fluff right now.
