The top 106 books most often marked as "unread" byLibraryThing’s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded.
bold the ones you've read
underline the ones you read for school
italicize the ones you own
add (*) beside the ones you liked and would (or did) read again. Even if you read 'em for school in the first place
add (#) beside the ones you'd never want anyone to read in any span of human history
pwwka's Note: As I seldom fail to finish any book I've started, I changed the condition for italics to stipulate books one owns -- to see how much we are like the people of LibraryThing. I also added the #-mark, to `ware eager readers from horrid reads.
I operated under this same addition. =)
( Follow the cut )
Thus, as far as the "classics" go, it would appear I am not very well read. Not included in here are:
( My required politics and humanities readings rocked... )
Not as much fun as Emma or The Canterbury Tales, but essential to an understanding of politics in the US. This is where the whole "politics major" thing sticks out... =)
